The Office Kid is a New York based company specialising in creating fictional kids. No, its not quite as scary as it sounds, but it is as crazy. The company estimates that businesses in the US lose $4 billion annually to employee absentism caused by childcare problems, childless workers being left to pick up the slack.
Their solution: create your own kid. A bespoke pack including fake photos, child-drawings, and a handy cheat sheet will enable those without kids to convince their fellow workers they do, thereby being able start skiving off work. The kit has been created by some 20-something ad execs.... busy then?
