Festival of Media LatAm 2014 Winners
Some of Latin America’s most innovative campaigns to date were celebrated and awarded for their success in a spectacular a Festival of Media Awards Gala Dinner last week. Agencies from across the region walked away with Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes, a first for Festival of Media LatAm.
The FOMLA Awards took place at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, where the evening was hosted by Ross Bielejeski, founder and co-owner of Rock With U Entertainment.
OMD notably dominated the evening with several wins, taking home seven FOMLA trophies. It was awarded Agency of the Year for its Dominican Republic business, and was crowned Network of the Year.
Leo Burnett followed close behind as next most-awarded network, receiving a total of six trophies. The Campaign of the Year award went to its ‘Bentley Burial’ campaign, which topped its list of trophy wins.
Other notable award successes included CUBOCC’s ‘Hellmann’s WhatsCook’ and Isobar Brasil’s ‘Fiat Live Store’ with two wins each.
‘Reminder Mirror’, a healthcare campaign from the Dominican Republic, was one of the most widely celebrated pieces of work of the evening, picking up four prizes.
