Nivea Men gives football fans their very own Man of the Match experience
Now I’m not the biggest football fan. But I’m a girl, so that’s a given. For men, I can only imagine that to have your name chanted by a packed stadium of adoring football fans is an experience that every guy can only dream of. That’s why when I came across this new campaign from Nivea Men, I thought it was definitely one to share!
To celebrate its England FA and Dutch Eredivisie Football sponsorship, Nivea Men decided to give normal guys their very own Man of the Match experience. But what appeared at first to be a standard Nivea Men sampling tent in the middle of a shopping centre, transformed into something else.
Whilst receiving a free grooming session, a 50-strong team went to work to orchestrate the transformation of the shopping centre into a football stadium using all manor of footballing props and an army of passionate football supporters.
It’s a classic execution of an experiential out-of-home campaign, appealing to consumers with a personal touch. Check out the video below:
