This is one of the best things I have seen in ages. Uber-geeks at The University of Tokyo have created virtual animations that you can not only interact with, but also feel.
By combining motion tracking, holograms and ultrasonic waves, the researchers have created holograms of things like raindrops that elicit a realistic tactile experience.
Imagine the possibilities with technology like this.
