Google pushes the boundaries of music videos

The dawn of a new era of music videos is upon us. This beautifully executed version of Arcade Fire's 'We used to Wait' uses Google's Street Map to create a personal and emotional journey. A nostalgic mix of music-to-reminisce-to, a trip down memory lane and the instruction to 'write advice to the next generation' creates an entirely new listening experience.

The Wilderness Downtown project was directed by Chris Milk and uses the cutting edge in HTML5. It's these kind of interesting collaborations that keep Google relevant.
