The 4th dimension

   



 

Last night, Ralph Lauren.com celebrated ten years of digital innovation in a fusion of art, fashion and technology dubbed 'a 4D brand experience'.

This short feature film was projected onto famous department stores on both sides of the Atlantic, which showed 50ft models walking down stairs, polo players bursting into real life and gargantuan ties hanging and swinging from the roof.

The dubious "fourth" dimension came in the form of scent. Throughout the show, Ralph Lauren perfume was pumped into the crowd for an overwhelming sensory experience.This stunt created an impressive amount of PR and at a time of financial uncertainty is a much needed statement from the fashion industry.
