The Festival of Media Asia Pacific Awards 2016 are now open for entries so if you have produced some great work in the region in the last year then it’s time to get scribbling.

The Festival of Media Asia Pacific Awards, now in its fourth year, is the only awards dedicated to the evolution of media, celebrating the best in media thinking and communications across the APAC region. Judged by a senior panel of agency heads and global and regional brand marketers, the awards is a prestigious event rewarding the very best work, helping the winning agencies and media owners win new business and increased influence in the marketplace.

The Awards are open to agencies based in the Asia Pacific region and campaigns must have been implemented locally or regionally. Agencies based outside Asia Pacific may participate as well on the basis that their work was created for and implemented in the Asia Pacific region. Likewise, agencies from Asia Pacific may submit work that has run globally.

Please note: All campaigns must have run between 1st September 2014 and 31st October 2015.

The deadline to submit entries is 27 November 2015 and the shortlist will be announced on 3 February 2016. Gold, Silver and Bronze tiered winners will be awarded at a special celebration evening on 22 March, concluding this year’s Festival of Media Asia Pacific conference, which begins at The Capella, Singapore on 20 March 2016. It will attract over 600 media professionals from over 23 countries and brings together APAC’s most senior media minds.

Danielle Redwood, managing director for awards at C Squared commented, “At the last edition we received the most entries to date for the awards, so we’re expecting even stiffer competition for the 2016 event. Entries come from Australia, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and across the whole region, so entrants really have to be on top of their game to stand out.

“My top tip is to choose your entering category or categories carefully – even the best campaign will fail to succeed if it doesn’t answer the category criteria. Best of luck to all participants.”
