The legacy of the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico will last for years as the full effects of the oil pollution are felt. As soon as the leak was capped, the clean-up operation began in earnest, and work is well underway to restore the local area and wildlife.
Happiness Brussels, has immortalised the ecological disaster with “Oil & Water Do Not Mix”: A limited edition of iconic posters made using leaked BP oil, harvested from the beaches of Grand Isle, Louisiana. Designed by noted British graphic artist Anthony Burrill, the strictly limited edition pieces are signed and numbered by the artist, and were sold online at www.gulfofmexico2010.com. All profits will go towards funding the work of the Coalition to Restore Coastline of Louisiana (CRCL) in the Gulf of Mexico.
