Video of the Week: Freddie Mercury Google Doodle

Slight departure this week. We're all quite used to Google mutating their homepage logo, the Google Doodle, to mark a significant date, but not typically with video. To mark what would have been Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday (September 5), Google managed to fit full animation within their logo for Tuesday, September 6 (Because September 5 was a holiday in the US), and its great. Here is what the Doodle looked like without animation:

Google has found numerous ways to promote itself whether through its brilliant Google Doodles or getting involved in the relief effort for the catastrophic tsunami in Japan. Indeed, Google delivered an online campaign designed to relay sentiments of encouragement from people around the globe to those affected by the recent crisis in Japan.
