Cream Daily: Canada retains No. 1 country brand status

   



Canada has been named the most powerful country brand in the world for the second year in a row.

Not only does Canada do well in promoting itself as a powerful country brand, but it doesn't do too badly in producing innovative media campaigns either...!

For instance, Doritos' latest campaign in Canada by inviting fans to 'kill' an unwanted flavour by writing the end to an unfinished Doritos commercial that would destroy one flavour in a suitably creative fashion.

 

In other news:

Following the success of its Lady Gaga campaign, Metro International  is inviting fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld to be the guest editor of its collectable 7 February 2012 issue.

Nearly three-quarters (73%) of consumers across the globe expect to spend the same amount or less on Christmas presents compared with last year
