Fiat has announced a fascinating project which asks consumers for suggestions of design and safety features of its latest car. Fiat Mio is a participatory project where everyone brings their ideas about the future of cars into the mix.

Visitors to www.fiatmio.cc are asked to upload, vote for and discuss their ideas. All will be considered by the company. The aim is to create a "car that you can call yours" (um carro para chamar de seu).

They are calling it the first car created under Creative Commons.
