Giant Wonderbras in 3D
Sadly not the latest epic from James Cameron, this is about the latest poster from Wonderbra. The brand that stopped traffic back in 1994 with that iconic "Hello Boys!" billboard this morning unveiled its latest campaign, "Full Effect". Central London commuters are now able to enjoy the sight of a Wonderbra model resplendent in 3D and on billboard space near the busy Waterloo railway terminal in central London.
The unveiling of the poster represents the launch of the "Full Effect" campaign, which is to be rolled out nationally from today. In addition to the usual social media tactics, Wonderbra 3D glasses have been given away in the Sun newspaper, one of the most popular national UK tabloids.
A more in-depth study will appear in the Cream case study library soon, but in the meantime, here's a sneak preview of the Full Effect poster.
Expect lots of businessmen walking into lamp posts in the Waterloo station area during rush hour this evening.
It's interesting to note the rise of outdoor 3D work, with Samsung's outdoor 3D projection really pushing the boundaries of what is possible. For more of the best OOH innovations, check out Cream's top ten OOH strategies here.
