Twitter hoax gains literary credentials?

Since we've already discussed imitation brands today, it's interesting to note that a well respected UK tabloid newspaper* has recently announced that the author of a joke Twitter account mocking Cheryl Cole has landed a book deal.

"Cheryl Kerl" has been posting caustic comments on Twitter in a phonetic geordie accent for some time. Apparently, shortly after the real Ms Cole launches her autobiography, "Through My Eyes", Ms Kerl will release: "Woath it? Coase I am Pet!".

In one of Kerl's statements, the mystery author said: "Ah man, when Coronet asked uz tuh reet mei book Ah wuz leik blern awey. Tuh think thar Ah’m ganna be joinin the ranks a the literaree greats leik Shakespeeah, Dickins an Joadun is berth humblin an tertally mint."
