Sixt messes with nature and blows the clouds away...
It's inconvenient living in Halle, Europe's rainiest city. Especially inconvenient if you are a car rental company with a whole load of convertibles to shift.
Rather than changing its fleet, Sixt decided to change the weather. Apparently chucking silver iodide at teh problem can literally blow the clouds away (or cause all of the rain to fall from the clouds at once, leaving clear skies behind). This technique was favoured during the Beijing Olympics over paying for a roof on the stadium.
