Get ready for the most complicated tablet ever.

A couple of friends of mine already own an iPad, and whilst it does look very clean and shiny, their insistence on taking it every with them makes you feel like you're hanging out with a load of loss adjusters.

Recently Google unveiled their snappily named Google Android Tablet at an expo in San Francisco, and the world marvelled - well we did - at the sight of Adobe programs running on the latest fashionable flat screen.

Blackberry, as usual are late to the party, with Blackberry maker Research in Motion having just announced their own plans to launch a tablet later in the year. With any luck, they'll continue their brand of uninspiring product names, and call it something like the Blackberry Tart. Or the Blackberry Slab. Given the astonishing things that Blackberry can do to a website, the mind boggles as to the contorted shapes into which their tablet will pull various websites.

So far the Google Android Tablet and the iPad look very similar, so it remains to be seen how the Blackberry will differentiate itself in the product design. The nature of the tablet means that the aesthetics are pretty inflexible, which means that consumers will only really choose their tablet based on the usability factor. In which case, the Blackberry, not known for its user-friendly capabilities, will have its work cut out!
