Following the announcement that Google was launching a phone service that could replace the PA, Apple has come out and banned any applications that use Google Voice, something it had previously approved.
Now the Federal Communications Commission in the US is on Apple's case, keen to find out why. the FCC wants to understand what role AT&T played in the rejection of Google Voice - clearly a competitor to the telecoms provider. See the official letters here.
