iPhone popularity in pictures

Two infographics in one week about Apple; you can tell that it is the favoured technology brand of graphics designers around the world. Where as a previous post imagined a world without Apple, this illustration examines the popularity of the iPhone

One of the most interesting parts of the graphic is the "next phone purchase" section, where it turns out that Android owners are as loyal to their chosen operating system as iPhone owners. The Apple evangelists have some competition.

Blackberry owners on the other hand are unsurprisingly a more fickle bunch - I should know, I was one of them - and anyone who has ever been unfortunate enough to own a Blackberry for personal use will know the unique challenges that involves.

Another salient point demonstrated in the picture is the perceived popularity of the iPhone handset - when in fact it turns out that most of us own Nokia. I obviously still move in very Apple-centric circles
