800 tattoos in 24 hours... all in the name of football
How do you get football fans to show their loyalty to their club? By tattooing the team’s logo on their bodies, of course!
Brazilian club Vasco da Gama is giving away a free jersey to fans who agree to get a tattoo today in a bid to break a Guinness World Record.
It needs to smash the current record of 801 tattoos in a 24-hour span. So far there are 600 willing fans.
The rules state that the same person can have multiple tattoos and still add to the tally. No minors will be tattooed and crucially they won’t allow tattoos in “intimate places”.
All of the tattoos are being photographed and posted to Twitter @vasconapele
