Before Blendtec...

This was flagged up by Mr Copyranter, but I feel it is worthy of spreading. Many people will be familiar with the 'Will it blend?' catchphrase from Blendtec founder Tom Dickson, which tends to precede him placing the next must have item into one of his blenders. Here's his latest video (and no, I am not comfortable with Dickson's ventures into comedy routines either):


However, it seems that he may well be aping a predecessor, the snappily-named Universal Food Chopper from 1890. The key selling point seems to be the ability to recreate a nightmarish Noah's Arc by taking animals of all shapes and sizes - pigs, cattle, sheep, lobsters, you name it -  two-by-two to be minced by the unrelenting machine.
