21st Century sport
The problem with gaming, its critics say, is that it is anti-social and unhealthy as players often sit by themselves on an armchair all night. Well, that might be about to change. Media artists, KMA, use light and heat sensor technology to create a virtual playing fields in urban spaces - in this case a car park.
Three towns in England - Middlesborough, Sunderland and Gateshead - will compete against each other simultaneously in games later this month, the aim being to move virtual balls into the correct corner of the marked out area using your body. Each game lasts 90 seconds and 5 games make a series.
With parks and playing fields in short supply in some of these industrial towns, the idea of creating a virtual playing field is a very interesting one. It will be interesting to see whether this trend takes off.

Good idea!
playing field looks amazing here. I can't imagine this kind of playing place. It will be the best stuff which haven't been ever before.
