Some divisive OOH.

Abortion ad

An emotive subject like abortion is always going create some provocative creative executions. This example from Wisconsin uses some emotive language and wildly inaccurate imagery depicting the thoughts of a pregnant girl and her unborn baby.

Naturally this has aroused some strong reactions from the locals. Personally I think the messaging is slightly confusing. The ad seems to suggest that killing the baby is the both wrong, and the perfect solution for the girl to avoid getting killed by her mother.

There is a fine line between persuasive advertising, and scaremongering. The clumsy statements and amateurish drawings are obviously the product of a group of individuals with a pro-life agenda, when such a sensitive topic really requires a more balanced approach.
